Kiwilustre is New Zealands leading water stain removal product for use on kiwi fruit and other fruit that exhibit water stain and related blemishes

Kiwilustre is a Solexin proprietary product based on natural and essentially biodegradable ingredients. It is designed to remove water stain on kiwi fruit and prevent further re-staining of the fruit in storage.

Water stain on kiwi fruit commonly occurs as a result of moisture, from rain, fog, dew or overhead sprinklers, leaching or washing tannins, dirt and other materials from the leaf canopy. The deposition of these materials on the fruit surface can lead to reactions with certain fruit skin components to form unattractive coloured products

Kiwilustre is applied 1 – 3 days before harvest and removes the stain and prevents further staining or stain reversion even over months of storage. The product does not leave visible deposits on the fruit and the fruit retains a natural golden appearance throughout storage.

Kiwilustre is available in 15 litre pails, 200 litre plastic drums and 1000 litre plastic IBC’s.
